Although leper colonies have been partially abolished, large institutions still exist. However, many individuals are institutionalized without any legitimate reason. Changes in international economic orders must be accompanied by domestic changes in order to ensure the full participation of disadvantaged population groups. It is imperative to promote appropriate vocational guidance, work preparation services, and increased employment opportunities.
